Oliver Ackaert

Oliver joined LAP&P in 2010 as a Consultant PK-PD. Oliver (1981) has studied Pharmacy with the specialization Biopharmacy, at the Catholic University Leuven, Belgium. After obtaining his Pharm.D. in 2004, Oliver started as a researcher at the department Drug Delivery Technology of the Leiden/Amsterdam Center for Drug Research (LACDR; Leiden University, The Netherlands), where he received his PhD in 2010. Subject of his thesis was transdermal iontophoretic delivery of dopaminergic (pro)drugs for the symptomatic treatment of Parkinson’s disease.
At LAP&P, Oliver specialises in the interface of Modelling and Simulation and Clinical Pharmacology.
