Kirsten Bergmann

Kirsten joined LAP&P as a Consultant PK-PD in March 2011. Kirsten Bergmann (1979) has studied Applied Physics at the Technical University of Denmark, where she obtained her M.Sc. with specialisation in biophysics and complex systems in 2006.

In 2010, she obtained her Ph.D. degree at the Technical University of Denmark, where she had worked as a Ph.D. student at the Department of Informatics and Mathematical Modelling. Subject of the thesis was modelling of the evolution of antibiotic resistance in bacteria populations with focus on the application of stochastic differential equations. After obtaining her PhD, Kirsten has worked a year as scientist at Abbott Healthcare Products (The Netherlands) with PBPK and PKPD modelling in preclinical research.
