Henk-Jan Drenth

Henk-Jan joined LAP&P in 2002 as a Consultant and became Senior Consultant in 2003. From January 2005, he is appointed as Chief Executive Officer of the company.
Henk-Jan Drenth (1967) has studied Chemistry at Utrecht University (The Netherlands). After obtaining his M.Sc. (specialisation in Toxicology), he started with his Ph.D. study in 1996 at the Research Institute of Toxicology (RITOX) at the Utrecht University. Subject of his thesis was the pharmacokinetic behaviour of lipophilic xenobiotics in rat, and extrapolation to humans using PB-PK modelling. From 2000 to 2002 he has worked as a project manager Clinical Pharmacology at Tibotec-Virco (Belgium) in the area of Therapeutic Drug Monitoring of antiretrovirals in HIV-infected patients.
