Joost DeJongh, Ph.D. Joost deJongh (1961) has studied chemistry at the University of Amsterdam (The Netherlands), where he received his M.Sc. (with honours) in 1988. He has obtained his Ph.D. degree in 1994 at the Research Institute of Toxicology (RITOX, now: IRAS) at Utrecht University (The Netherlands). Subject of his thesis was the pharmacokinetic mixture interactions between environmental contaminants. From 1994 to 1999 he has worked as a research associate and lecturer at RITOX on the subject of PB-PK modelling and Quantitative Structure Activity Relationships (QSAR's) for predicting in vitro-in vivo relationships. He has contributed to over fifty peer-reviewed publications. Joost has specialised in internal and external education and training projects, research and development of new modelling techniques, and the development of methodology for disease systems analysis. |
